Hello, I’m Laura Birrell, the founder of Sticky Heelz.

Sticky Heelz was born out of pure frustration — and a very real, very common problem. I have one foot that is slightly shorter than the other (something so many women have, whether they realise it or not). Getting dressed to go out often involved an exhausting mental checklist:

How far will I be walking?
Which shoes will I manage in?
How long before they start slipping or rubbing?
What spare shoes do I need to take?
What bag will be big enough to carry them?

So much drama — all before I’d even left the house.

I tried everything on the market, but nothing worked for me. Heel grips slipped, insoles felt bulky, and most “solutions” just created new problems. Eventually, I realised that if I wanted shoes to be comfortable and wearable, I was going to have to create the solution myself.

That’s how Sticky Heelz came to life.

What started as a personal fix quickly became something much bigger. Sticky Heelz was designed to help shoes fit better, stay put, and feel comfortable — without changing how they look. My mission has always been simple: to make shoes more comfortable to wear, so they can actually be enjoyed.

As a founder, I am genuinely grateful to every woman who chooses to purchase from Sticky Heelz, especially as an independent brand. Your trust means everything to me. I don’t take it lightly, and I never will.
